A Visit with a Milblogging Friend and fellow Soldiers Angel

Had a milblogging buddy (and fellow Soldiers Angel  )visit with us this weekend, and had a Great time!

She's my friend, Courtney, and blogs over at   Cat is my co-pilot

We took her up to  Skyline Drive  and got some great pictures up there, I think.

It's always so much fun to see in person the folks you talk to so often online!

Thanks for coming to visit,Courtney!! :) We loved seeing you!

i LOVE the deer picture. the one of me failing to keep myself from crying and contorting my face from the sun in my eyes? not really so much! hahahaha. i'd say take it down, but every other picture i have of myself is pretty much the same. :D i suppose i just have to accept that that is what i look like!

i really wish i'd gotten a pic of tony with his arms and hands in the air like, what the heck are you doing in the car??!! he's looking right at you! and we're hiding and saying, but we're chilly!

i had a fabulous time, kathi and i really look forward time to lugging that large, round 30 pound bread stone from seattle back down to harrisonburg for my next visit. ;) haha! no really, i am kidding about the complaining part!

tony, you rock! you make the best cookies ever!!!

okay--i am off to see your skyline drive link!

Ah, yes, Skyline Drive is pretty:)  The leaves are still more on the trees than not up here, but that won't last much longer.

oh no--you are going to get that baking stone come hell or high water or grumpy TSA security workers! i insisted on buying it when we married with one of our gifts and never used it--i believe the stone deserves better treatment than this!!!
